Most artists sites just have the bio and show the work and all the shows or museums they are in. I have attempted to go beyond that and in my own words to give some information about the work and what inspired/led me to produce it. A glimpse into my mind. I enjoy working with Interior Designers and Architects on commission work, you will find me inexpensive and easy to work with as creative passion is my primary motivation. Please keep in mind that every piece of artwork that is displayed here is for sale, except those pieces that are listed as SOLD. This is a blog site so feel free to comment on any of the work you see. If you see anything that you would like just call me or email me at the contact info provided and I will be happy to get back to you asap. I have not set up a merchant account or Paypal account as yet so if you see something you want to purchase or get a price on -just contact me. Prices are not listed because they vary depending on the situation. Right now I am offering some of the older prints and posters at cost-$50 (plus shipping) unframed. The normal Gallery price for these would be between $800-1600 depending on mounting and framing. So you can see these sale priced items are a very good deal. *If you are out of state you can talk to me about shipping at the time of interest.

Featured Work - Poster Series

This poster series are illustrations based on a series of Science Fiction stories and scripts created by me. The first series entitled; "New Vision Chronicles" was a general concept of futurist vision. The second series entitled; "Future Vision Chronicles" is dedicated to the short Science Fiction Stories. For these illustrations I used my own original drawings, computer creations and photographs. Some of these illustrations are first or Second roughs to get the concept across visually and for me they act as a tool to also help me develop the story. The stories are still in a rough stage and unpublished. My inspiration comes from the many science fiction writers I have read such as; Arthur C. Clark, H.G. Wells, Jules Verne, Phillip K. Dick, Robert Heinlein, Frank Herbert, Ray Bradbury, Harlan Ellison and Isac Asimov. Movies also have had a profound effect on me. I remember seeing "Forbidden Planet" at the Saturday afternoon movies in Laguna Beach and going back again and again to watch it until it was replaced by another movie. What inspires you?

This work was started in 2005 and finished in the beginning of 2006. It showed in March 2006.It seemed that many people found it interesting and it was purchased within the first hour of the reception. Who knew?
The title and theme came from living at a distance from most relatives and loved ones. Growing up in a military family, distance always seems to take it’s tole on communication and relationships in one way or another. I use the color red a lot in my work (as you can see in “Influence of Zen")and here it represents heart and passion. As high school years came -so did the saying good bye to girl friends and or trying to keep a relationship at long distance. Hence a lot of red for every letter mailed.

Not Just Pretty Pictures!
Here is a sample of the latest series of work that was completed around mid 2007. It is influenced by my research into global warming and the effects on weather. Also some of the latest movies/documentaries, such as “An Inconvenient Truth”
This has been a area of concern for most of us “baby boomers” since the 60’s.The global acceleration of the need for petroleum is frightening.The idea that resources are limited and that large corporations are really more concerned about maximizing profits rather than any concern for the planetary resources or the environment. Fortunatley many people are waking up to this and starting to do something. The question remains; will it be in time?
